Vasectomy?

ok, i know this sounds weird considering i am a grown man.....but how does a vasectomy work....like what do they do and is the man still able to release c*m??? i am so confused. My brother told me that a buddy of his got one the other day and i don't really talk to him about stuff like that!!! thanks for dealing with my confusion!!! hahahhahah
