Does drinking a protein supplement have any good effect?

Protein drinks are very good to add as a supplement to your diet. I work for a dr and we started a protein drink to our own diets. For most people the average that you need each day is 60g (not 60g of meat either!) usually people think that means more cheeseburgers. But protein in those kinds of drinks actually keeps you fuller longer so you dont overeat throughout the day. We were recommended to take one in the morning upon waking, then between meals which made us eat less (put that with healthier food and that's where the weight loss will come from) and kinda forces you to drink more water (which most people dont get enough of also). It's the creatine that builds muscle m. My fiance takes one for building muscle m, I just use a regular protein drink and lost about 17 pounds in 2 months. Talk to your doctor for his recommendations. You dont want something full of sugar and other crap and he will most likely know one that has quality ingredients and is made in a way that doesnt destroy certain qualities of those ingredients. Thats the problem with vitamins that come from GNC, they are made from things that dont allow them to break down in your body which make taking them pointless.
