Sidedish (appetiser) ideas for mothers day..?

Just make a big green salad (get a bag of mixed baby greens) with a good Balsamic Vignarette dressing. You could add some sliced red onion, if you wanted too.... And, if you don't like that, then just steam either fresh asparagus or broccoli and serve with a little drizzled melted er. You don't need anything else heavy, or with a sauce, since you have a sauce on the meat and heavy cheese on the potatoes ....... You might also have a fruit salad too
