Idk if i should talk to him.......?

this guy lead me on a lot....then went back out with his ex the next day......... he did it three times! he said all this sweet stuff to me then just lied! finally the third time i was really mad and he said he just wants to be friends and nvr try and make it work....but now it seems like he wont talk to me at all!!!! what should i do??? we used to be pretty close......friend wise too
