Need a loving message for my stepmom (who I consider my mom) to put on lighther for Christmas gift!?

I want to get my mama (stepmom) a lighter engraved with a message for christmas but don't know how to word it. Something along the lines of "a mother is not made by birth, but by love (or heart, etc) She is my best friend and I truly consider her my mother, so I want a message that conveys that to her, my appreciation, my love, my thanks. Any ideas?? Thanks!
