Are you willing to admit that America wants to be a socialist country?

I understand that free healthcare, free education, government subsidized housing and all those other things are aspects of a socialist society. Which is exactly why I am voting for Obama. People keep screaming and throwing their little temper tantrums, crying about "socialism" and saying it like its a bad thing. Well I, for one, thing its great. Why shouldn't every young adult be put on the same playing field starting out? Why shouldn't college be offered to these people that are starting out new in the world if that's the route they want to take in life? And why not make sure they are medically sound to perform their chosen task in life? Yes, I believe that the pursuit of happiness should be as available to one young person as the next regardless of how their parents fared, and that is absolutely not a characteristic of the system we are under today. Yep, I know Obama's plans resemble socialism which is EXACTLY why he's got my vote.
